From Fridge to Fabulous: 10 Delicious Ways to Repurpose Leftovers

September 22, 2025 · 6 min read

9. Create a Stir-Fry

Stir-fries are practically made for leftovers. Chop up last night’s meats and veggies, toss them in a hot pan, and drizzle with soy sauce, sesame oil, or teriyaki sauce. Serve over rice or noodles, and you’ve got a brand-new dish in minutes.

The quick cooking process keeps everything tasting fresh, while the bold sauces disguise the fact that the ingredients were hanging out in the fridge.

10. Blend into a Savory Spread

This one’s a little outside the box, but trust me—it works. Leftover beans, vegetables, or even roasted meats can be blended with olive oil, herbs, or cream cheese to create a spread or dip. Use it on sandwiches, serve it with crackers, or spread it on toast for a quick snack.

Not only does this cut down on waste, but it also helps you discover new flavors you might not have thought of before.
