Budget furniture is one of Walmart’s big draws, but this is an area where you really get what you pay for. Much of the furniture is made from particleboard or thin laminates that chip, crack, or sag after just a few months of use. Assembly can also be a headache, and Walmart typically doesn’t provide delivery or setup services.
Smart Swap: Consider secondhand furniture from local thrift stores, Facebook Marketplace, or IKEA if you’re on a budget. These options often provide more durability and better design for similar prices.
